The Val estate is owned by two young grape growers, Manolo Espiago and Ana Alonso, who made the bet to develop in Villarroya a more modern viticulture.

Thirty hectares of trellised vineyards are planted at a density of 2 900 vines/ha and provided with a "drip" irrigation system for a better control of water deficit of the plants.

The plots are located between 900 m and 1000 m over sea level.

The work of these two viticulturists is thorough and accurate, based on the observation day after day in the evolution of vineyard.

The grapes at the Val are the Merlot, the Cabernet Sauvignon, the Tinta Fina and the Syrah.

This is the Syrah from the Val Estate that we chose for our wines.
